Anchored in hope

In times of strife and troubled life,

When darkness falls and fears arise,

Don't search for answers, left and right,

For God is near, shining with all His light.

Don't make Him your last resort, your final call,

Make Him your first, your only hope for all,

He's not an option, among many to choose,

He's the only One, who sees you through.

A young sailor once, on stormy seas,

Faced waves so high, his heart did freeze,

He cried out to God, with all his might,

"Save me, Lord, and guide me through the night."

The winds subsided, the sun shone bright,

The sailor's faith, took flight,

He learned that day, in troubled waters,

God's the only Hope, that truly matters.

So when life's storms, your soul assail,

Don't look to man, or earthly bail,

Make God your only Hope, your guiding light,

He'll see you through, the darkest night.

For He's the One, who knows your name,

Your every tear, your every pain,

He's your Rock, your Refuge, and your Friend,

Your only Hope, until the very end.

So put your trust, in Him alone,

Make God your only Hope, your heart's home,

And when life's trials, your faith test,

You'll find His strength, is always best.
