THE CLEVER TORTOISE AND THE ELEPHANT

In the Animal Kingdom, a determined princess refused to marry any of the suitors who came for her hand in marriage. She had a big fantasy of riding across the village on an elephant. So, she announced that any suitor who brought a live elephant to her would win her hand in marriage.

The king, eager to see his daughter happy, declared the challenge to all the animals in the kingdom. However, all the animals were discouraged by the task, except for the clever tortoise.

The tortoise, who had been friends with the elephant for a long time, approached the king and said, "I will marry your daughter. I will bring a live elephant and have her as my wife."

The tortoise went to the elephant's house and said, "The king of our village will be having an OFALLA festival in two days, and he has chosen you as the chief guest. You will be highly honored."

The elephant was delighted and agreed to follow the tortoise to the palace. However, the tortoise tricked the elephant into wearing a soothing garment so that the princess could sit comfortably on its back.

On the day of the marriage, the tortoise and the princess were wed, and the elephant was left to serve them. But the elephant soon realized it had been tricked and decided to escape.

The elephant tricked the princess into allowing it to perform a dance, and during the performance, it ran out of the palace and into the forest.

The princess was heartbroken and told the tortoise that she couldn't continue their marriage without an elephant. The tortoise and the princess eventually parted ways, and she remained alone until her father's death.
